De Galaxy S II Plus werd uitgebracht in 2013 en is een bijgewerkte versie van de Galaxy S II uit 2011. Het toestel heeft een bijgewerkte processor, minder opslagruimte (8 GB in plaats van 16/32) en een herziene behuizing. Het werd ook geleverd met een nieuwere Android-versie (4.1.2 Jelly Bean in plaats van 2.3.4 Gingerbread).
