Hi Steven! What is the size of the SSD? Be sure that you save the $SystemUpdate file from the OSU1 onto a USB stick and perform as an offline update. You can skip step 11. This should work. After this you are good to go.

Did the connector came from the motherboard? Or do you want to move connectors between the batteries? Then you do need to solder..
