The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active was released on March 8, 2019, in black, silver, rose gold, and sea green colors. It can be identified by the model number SM-R500.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active includes a 1.1-inch display with a resolution of 360 by 360 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 was introduced in September 2019 with a slightly larger display (either 1.4-inches or 1.2-inches with model numbers SM-R820 (44mm), SM-R825 (44mm/Cellular), SM-R830 (40mm), and SM-R835 (40mm/Cellular).
