3gs battery replacement
i bought a new battery and when i plugged it in the charge, the new battery will not charge. i changed it back and my old battery works fine.
do i have to set up the battery in a certain way, or what?

What exactly is the kind of your old and new batteries? and if your old batterie works fine, why get a new one? Look first if both are compatible. Watch also how you deposit your new batterie inside to see if it is well connected, as a batterie always have a positive and negative, phone batterie always at the same place.

the kind? it was a 3gs battery, like the old one..
my old battery did not work fine, it would last for a half hour, and then die at 90%. but the fact that the old battery recharges is a sign that tells that i have not done anything wrong when i was installing the new battery! it means that can reassemble my iphone perfectly without damage.
i do not understand ? compatible? i bought a 3gs battery for my 3gs iphone; so how could it not be compatible?
the new battery works, even though it does not recharge. it just goes down from 20% i think it was about 10% when i gave up. but it worked perfectly fine.
