I purchased one year 2 months back Sony tv KDL-50W800B. Suddenly our TV won't turn on. The red light that is normally on when the TV is off is also not on. No power inlet issue.

@gopikanth if you are sure you have power to the TV then it is time to check things out. First measure the output of your power supply. It should measure 19.5V. After that unplug your set and remove the back. Take a look at all the board. Check for any obvious damage like domed looking, leaking capacitors, as well as other components. You need a multimeter to check the main board and see if you have power going to it. First thing you want to do is to check the fuse(s) on the power board for continuity. I marked those with a red arrow.
After that use the flowchart for your TV
