Does your Kenmore 110 Series Washing Machine no longer drain water out of its basin after its wash cycle? Kenmore 110 Series Washing Machines are susceptible to a range of problems that could cause them to stop draining. Check the following causes to identify and solve the problem.
Clogged Waste Hose
If your washing machine does not automatically drain the wastewater, the machine’s waste hose might be clogged. To unclog the waste hose, remove the hose from the back of the washing machine by unclipping it. Then, clear it out using running water and a toilet snake. After the hose is cleared, snap it back in place on the back of the washing machine and try to use the machine again.
Clogged Drain Pump
If your washing machine’s waste hose is cleared of any clogs and it is still not draining properly, your machine may have a faulty drain pump. Because the drain pump has a translucent cover, a clog may be visible in the pump without having to take it apart. If you see a clog, use the Kenmore 110 Series Washing Machine Water Pump Replacement Guide to remove the machine’s water pump.
Faulty Lid Switch
The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer will not drain. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test each of the lid switches for continuity. If a lid switch does not have continuity, use the Kenmore 110 Series Washing Machine Lid Switch Replacement Guide to replace the machine’s faulty lid switch.
Faulty Pump Motor
If you have removed any clogs from the washing machine’s waste hose and drain pump and the machine still will not drain water, there might be a problem with the pump motor. The washing machine’s motor provides the drain pump with the power to drain the basin. Find a replacement motor for your Kenmore washing machine from this website and use the Kenmore 110 Series Washing Machine transmission, motor, and pump diagram to replace the faulty motor.

No spin at all. Thought the drive belt was toast, but found what appears t be a good belt but everything in that area is coated with oil. Probably not a good sign. Please advise
