As oldturkey said, a bad lid switch will stop the washer from draining. In addition, a bad capacitor will not allow the motor to start. To drain the washer by hand, simply lower the hose below the water level and drain into a bucket. When the bucket is full, raise hose above the water level and empty bucket. Repeat until water is out of the tub. With an empty tub, you can now troubleshoot without getting wet. I would start with the lid switch first as it is the most likely culprit. If you determine that the switch is good, I can tell you how to locate and diagnose the capacitor. BE SURE TO UNPLUG THE WASHER FIRST!!!!!
Meer informatieIt is likely bad feed rollers. The rubber drys out over time and hardens them becoming like a plastic rather than pliable rubber . You can try reconditioning the feed rollers by cleaning them (I use Fedron to clean them, but isopropyl alcohol will work in a pinch, albeit not as well as alcohol drys them out even more), but this will likely only be a temporary fix. Replacing the rollers are a better option.
Meer informatieTry the following methods to restore power to the Brother machine: 3.1 Method 1: (1) Remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds. (2) Press and hold the ON/OFF button down, and then insert the power cord back into the machine. (3) Do not release the ON/OFF button until the machine has been powered on completely or after 15 seconds. (4) Repeat this procedure up to three times if necessary. 3.2 method 2: (1) Remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds. (2) Remove the paper tray from the machine. (3) Reconnect the power cord, and then power the machine on. (4) When the machine has been powered on completely, insert the paper tray back into the machine. If you still cannot power the machine on, then you likely have a bad power supply which can be purchased here... https://www.ebay.com/itm/321986636857
Meer informatieYou will have to clean the print heads manually. Here is a video of the process. You can use isopropyl alcohol as a cleaning solution rather than purchasing their kit. I would recommend leaving the printer off over night to be certain all the alcohol has dried. If this doesnt work, the heads will need to be replaced and may be cost prohibitive to repair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IszUNL7z...
Meer informatieSo based on your info here the stove is what is called "pilotless" or "electric start". There are no pilots and your stove is operating according to the manufacturer's specifications. In other words, there is no pilot to be lit. You are fine. Even if the stove didnt lite when the clicking started, it is possible to hold a match to the burner and it will lite. You have no worries. It is working correctly.
Meer informatieAre you running it on the charger all the time? As Dan said the battery should not overcharge, but I have seen some systems that will overcharge if you do not discharge the battery at least once a month.
Meer informatieAssuming the heads are clogged, you can try cleaning them with a cotton swab/Q tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. To be honest, if the heads are clogged, it is very rare that you will get them to come back. Usually replacing the heads is all that will work (that is, if they are even available) and unfortunately not cost effective, since the head assembly will cost as much as a new printer will. Sadly, the manufacturers were not selling you a printer when they made the ink jet, they were selling you ink. If the heads are on the ink cartridges, then clean first. if that doesnt work, you will need new ink cartridges.
Meer informatieThe print heads are likely clogged. You can try cleaning them with the utility that is in the memory usually on the display panel, but honestly, if they are clogged, the utility will likely not work at this point. If you can locate the print head, you can try to clean it with a cotton swab and alcohol. In my 40 years in the industry, I think I have seen only a handful of these printers come back from clogged print heads. You will likely have to replace the machine, as the print heads (if you can even find them) will cost you what a new system would.
Meer informatieEither your drum cartridge or fuser assembly are bad. The fuser is located where the paper exits. Shut the printer off just as the paper is exiting and open machine up. If there are no lines on the page inside but there is on what started exiting, then the issue is in the fuser. If there are lines on the page inside then the issue is likely with your drum cartridge. On most models, the drum is located in the toner cartridge. Since this is color, you likley have four cartridges, so you will have to check each of them.
