My name is Keilin Solis and I am in my junior year majoring in computer science at the University of Rhode Island. What lead me to my major was learning how to code html in my earlier teens. I would edit my blog by changing themes, the cursors and even adding music. I find coding entertaining and fun. In addition to enjoying the creativity of coding, technology is growing fast and will impact the future. I hope one day I can be apart of the advances of technology. In the future, I hope to be apart of technology that changes the way we live life. That could include medical technology, social media, and environmental. At this moment, I do not know how to fix specific things but I would like to learn how to fix changing headlights on my car. I think it would be useful to know. In my spare time, I like to exercise and go to the gym with my friends, watch tv with my boyfriend, and spent quality time with my cats. This project will benefit me in the future because I can take these skills of editing and practicing the use of technical writing to my future job. Technical writing is used frequently as a computer scientist.
