My name is Teasha, and I am an international student from Bangladesh. I am currently a freshman attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. I am studying Electrical Engineering (Robotics Track), but I am also a student pilot waiting to her private pilot license.

I have really enjoyed learning how to code in VHDL and I hope I can use that skill at an internship, or even a job, someday. I have grown to love building circuits, and just playing around with wires. I usually appreciate when people come up to me for help in their coding classes because I love helping out in every way possible. I may not be the brightest person out there, but I take pleasure in teaching others what I know.

I would say I have some experience in coding. in the last few months I have learned how to code in VHDL and MATLAB, and am currently learning how to program in C. I also participate is several engineering clubs around campus such as, Society of Women’s Engineering, and IEEE. In this project, my team and I would like to help out in every way possible for those who are fully capable to fix their own gadgets. I do remember being an excellent writer back in high school (or so my teacher told me), and I am looking forward to improving my writing skills once again with these projects.

Other than engineering and programming all day, I also take part in playing volleyball every now and then to keep my head cool. My volleyball skills are a little rusty, but my teammates encourage me every step of the way and are always giving me tips to improve. I am a very open person, and I will not hesitate to talk to people. I love meeting people from different ethnicities and backgrounds because I grew up in Qatar where we had mostly international students. I think I know exactly how to narrow these guides down so that everyone is able to understand and comprehend. I look forward to working with iFixit!
