Through-hole soldering tips and tricks

  • If you're soldering a component with multiple through-hole leads (such as a joystick module, microcontroller, or port), solder two opposite leads to hold the component position in place. Check the alignment, then solder the remaining joints.

  • Alternatively, you can bend two opposite leads to secure the component to the board while you solder.

  • If the molten solder doesn't flow or is hard to manipulate, apply more flux to the joint.

Consejos y trucos para soldar agujeros pasantes

Si vas a soldar un componente con varios hilos pasantes (como un módulo de joystick, un microcontrolador o un puerto), suelda dos hilos opuestos para mantener la posición del componente en su sitio. Comprueba la alineación y, a continuación, suelda las uniones restantes.

También puedes doblar dos cables opuestos para fijar el componente a la placa mientras sueldas.

Si la soldadura fundida no fluye o es difícil de manipular, aplica más fundente a la unión.
