Is it possible to replace the hard disk with an SSD?

I would like to clone the current HDD with an SSD to make it faster.

@piero90 yes, you can. Now, with that said, it will depend on what motherboard/processor you have. If your motherboard does not have an M2 slot, you will need to get a 2.5" SATA3 SSD. Something like a Kingston’s KC600 would work

If it does have an M2 use the appropriate SSD for that.

"Support for 6.35-cm (2.5-in) SATA hard drives in 7.0-mm (.28-in) and 9.5-mm (.37-in) thickness Support for M.2 SATA storage (Port 0) (models with i7 processors and 4 GB discrete graphics memory only)" from the HP Envy Maintenance And Service Guide. Page 55 shows you how to check it out and to work on it.
