1 Is a replacement motor available?
After using this device throughly for a few years, the motor sounds like it’s on the way out. The motor seems easily user-replaceable, I managed to take the motor out with only a T8 bit. I can’t seem to find any third-party brushless DC motors that are even close to the one in the device.

Is there any information on the motor itself e.g. model number etc?
Post an image of the motor showing any information that is printed on it. here's how to do this on Ifixit Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag.
Sometimes searching for the motor model info gets results rather than searching for parts for the make and model number of the device.
