Power Cycle loop on D650i-B2 Vizio

A few days ago, our ~65” VIZIO D650i-B2 television started power cycling; It turns on, shows the power indicator light, proceeds to show the Vizio Logo on the screen, and immediately acts as though it was unplugged and plugged back in.

I have already taken all steps possible as the “User” to try and diagnose the possible problems. Unplugged it and plugged it back in. Used the power button versus the remote. Unplugged and let discharge for extended period of time. No dice.

We’ve had a few problems with it previously—namely, the WiFi chip burnt out a few years ago or something—but this power cycle is a new one. If it’s dead and burnt out then just say that, cause I won’t waste my time trying to diagnose a 5-year-old Television with a soldering iron and a magnifying glass if I don’t have to.

I’ve read that the E-Series of Vizio Televisions had EEPROM issues. If this has a similar issue I would appreciate a point in the right direction. No pictures because it’s not coming off that wall until it has to.

Any more info, just ask.

Andrew  since you are not willing to take it apart or to look at it closely I’d suggest that you replace the main board. Of course, if it would be me, I’d check the output form the power board to the mainboard first. But that would require to take it apart, etc.
