Een geweldig team van studenten van ons onderwijsprogramma heeft deze wiki gemaakt.

If some or all of the piano keys on your Casio CZ-1000 feel loose or unresponsive, follow this troubleshooting guide.

Physically Damaged Keys

Run your fingers over the keys to feel for any that are loose or wobbly. If you find an issue, unscrew the back plate of the keyboard to inspect for misaligned or cracked keys. Loose keys can often be pressed back into place, but damaged keys may require replacement. Once inspected, reattach the back plate and test the keyboard.

If you find a damaged key, you can follow our Casio CZ-1000 Piano Key Replacement Guide to replace it!

Dirty Keys and Contacts

Wipe the keys gently with a paper towel or cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to remove surface dirt. If issues persist, open the keyboard by removing the back plate, then blow compressed air over the keys and contacts to dislodge debris. Use a small brush or an alcohol wipe for stubborn grime. Reassemble the keyboard once cleaned and test the keys.

Physically Damaged Contacts

Unscrew the back panel to access the contacts and inspect them for dirt, scratches, or worn rubber pads. Clean dirty contacts with isopropyl alcohol, and replace any damaged rubber pads or contacts as needed. Once repairs are complete, reattach the back plate and test the keyboard.
