Hi!

My name is Charlotte, and I attend the University of California, Davis. I am a first-generation undergraduate pursuing a double major in Design and Managerial Economics. I chose design because of my strong interest in art and creativity. Since I was young, I’ve been passionate about bringing my ideas to life and would occupy my time through creative projects. Design allows me to explore the structured and technical aspects of art, bridging my hobby and passion with a more practical and applicable skill set.

I decided to pursue a double major in Managerial Economics because of my interest in business, finance, and understanding how systems work. I aspire to be both a children's book writer and illustrator and also hope to create music, share my voice, and express my ideas through creative videos and art. My goal is to be free and pursue a path as an entrepreneur.

Some of my special skills include great attention to detail and a visionary mindset that allows me to see the bigger picture. I spend a lot of time just thinking and it is in those times where I expand on my knowledge and forming of views. I’m proud of several projects I’ve completed, including art pieces and assignments from my Design classes. The attached artwork is one I did at almost 2 years ago. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, playing the guitar, creating art, and playing video games. A fun fact about me is that I love singing.

Although my repair experience is limited, I have done minor fixes involving sewing and buttons. I wish I could repair more technical items, like phone or laptop screens, as those repairs can be costly. When approached with an issue I do my best to research how I can repair said issue by watching videos or reading guides just to know I have at least attempted it and usually it can work out well.

This project will benefit me professionally by giving me the opportunity to work with a client and create a professional website, joining a platform where thousands of others have showcased their work.
