Major: Computer Science.

I chose this major because I was always interested in learning new languages and this seemed like a natural progression.

Aspirations: I want to move into the cyber security sector and potentially even network penetration testing, but that would require a lot of learning and years of experience.

Skills: Coding(C++, Python, Dart, JavaScript, HTML,CSS), Comptia Sec+ Cert

Projects/accomplishments: I built a course selection tool for the computer science students here at URI. It will layout exactly what class you should be taking next and can have a CSV file input that is efficient (<1ms response time) up to around 600 students at a time.

Repair experience: I work as a Cyber System Operator in the Air National Guard so I have fixed many computers, servers as well as printers.

Hobbies: Working out, playing games with friends,

How does this project relate to you?: This project will help me gain professional experience in communicating effectively. Most computer science majors are very intelligent, but lack the skill to communicate with someone not versed in the field. I hope to acquire these skills to set me apart.

Any other fun facts you’d like to add?: I like to snowboard and mountain bike.
