Hello my name is Mark Blanc, I am a sophomore at the University of Rhode Island. I am a civil engineering major with hopes of using my degree to sustain a long term career within the engineering field. I chose this major because I am interested in the math and science that goes into creating bridges, skyscrapers, and other infrastucture. In my career I want to design and facilitate the building of bridges in a sustainable and functional way.
