Hi I am currently attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ.
I am an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) major meaning I deal with and learn how drones function from little hobby drones to how the surveillance systems work on military drones. I chose this major because I have always been a hands on person and being in UAS there come many opportunities to build and fix drones on top of that the UAS industry is a quickly expanding and growing field with endless possibilities. Upon graduation it is my hope to be able work with or use my knowledge in UAS to work in the firefighting industry since drones are being used more and more in in first response and firefighting and firefighting has always been something I have been interested in.
For projects and previous experience this past semester (Fall 2021) I built and trouble shot my own quadcopter drone. As for fixing things I have had experience throughout my life fixing things from toys to computers.
For hobbies and clubs I am currently a student-athlete here at Embry-Riddle playing baseball so that takes up most my free time but I enjoy every minute of it.
