My 3DS XL is experiencing a purple tint to the touch screen. The screen is also experiencing vertical lines of slight flickering which is only noticed upon close examination and a more annoying higher definition to the squareness to each pixel as compared to the top screen. I’ve already tested the possibility of it being a theme or brightness related problem and took it apart to disconnect and reconnect all ribbon cables. I guess my questions are “will it get worse,” “what caused it,” and “would replacing the screen fix the problem?” It’s as if someone placed on a purple screen protector that simultaneously lowers the quality of the image (it’s not though, I checked.)
