Hi all, took the advise to go to home depot and buy the bilge pump hose for $9.00 . This does the job, works great. Keep in mind there is a bit of difficulty getting the job done, but not that hard to get it done.

Also there is no part from shark to buy for this machine for hose replacement. Therefore when I called shark to check if this could be obtained from shark, they advised that I would need to purchase the head unit for $100.00 plus shipping.
