Word of warning - the flaps on the ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) ports are VERY fragile - if you aren't careful, they will come off completely, and getting them back into place is essentially impossible. I broke off the one from step 22, and holding it w/ tweezers, trying to get it back into place, it broke in half, and then did it again, just holding it. Thus ended my attempt at fixing my daughter's 3DS.
