No wonder my ‘Home always sounds muffled, like it’s buried under a pile of jackets. The off-axis response of the speaker is only 5kHz or so—-you have to be right on axis to get a decent sound. Thanks for the link!
Is it even necessary to remove the rear panel? There's nothing on my rear panel that helps to keep the watch together.
In theory, you can tug on the watch straps to remove the metal housing, if only the plastic were strong enough.
(Note: I removed my rear panel, but on my (early) 360 the adhesive had the same loosening temperature as the plastic point of the rear panel, and it bent. I was able to flatten the panel on a hot plate, but the rear of the watch is not flat....)
