After heating (I used a hair dryer for 4-5 mins, moving around whole frame, to make sure was pretty hot, then let sit for 1 minute), insert a razor blade between the bezel and the frame, at the bottom edge. Lever upwards, the screen will easily pull away. You won’t even need the suction cup.
Oddly, the right-side screw was longer than the left-side screw, after having been fixed once already, by Apple. Also, a flat, black, triangular, plastic, washer-type thingy tumbled out of somewhere after I removed the two screws. Best guess is that whoever fixed it used non-native screw. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get the screw back in-with or without the washer thing. Anyone else see anything like this?
Okay, I managed to get it out. Used a hammer claw to pry out the housing around the pin. That got me about half-way there. Then carefully chisled a bit more away with hammer & nail. Finally was able to yank out the pin with tweezers. It was ugly, but the pin was undamaged and I could drop it right into new housing.
