It is caused by the cable that connects the LCD with its small board. Its not the small cable that connects the Logicboard (Mainboard) with the small Display Board. Here is a pic of the Display with the Board and the Cables that break.

It will work fine, but if you drop it, one of the connections could come loose.

It could be a broken Teperaturesensor. If you are lucky it is the one in the Battery, so if it is possible, try another battery.

Hi, Die Retina Bildschirme haben keine “Glasscheibe” mehr. Bei den Geräten ohne Retina Display hast du eine Bildschirmeinheit welche du im ganzen aus dem Gehäuse nehmen könntest nachdem du die Glasscheibe herausgelöst hast. Beim Retina ist alles was IN dieser Displayeinheit gesteckt hat direkt in das Gehäuse geklebt, was du also direkt vor dir hast ist nicht das Glas welches den LCD Schützt, es ist das LCD selbst. Auf dem Bild siehst du das Teil im noch-nicht-eingebauten zustand. Ich würde niemandem raten das teil selber zu tauschen. Der Farbfilter (also das “Teil”) WIRD brechen beim herausbauen und das neue Ersatzteil ist in der regel zu teuer zum kaputt machen. Leider habe ich bisher auch noch kein Möglichkeit gefunden um die Beschichtung komplett zu entfernen um zumindest so ein einheitliches Bild zu bekommen.

LED 1 Zeigt an dass das Netzteil Strom hat und die Grundsätzliche versorgung anständig aufbaut. LED 2 Zeigt an das der iMac eingeaschalten ist und läuft, also nicht im sleepmode ist. LED 3 CPU wird erkannt und funktioniert. LED 4 LCD ist an und funktioniert LED 5 Ich “glaube”: Backlight ist an und funktioniert.

Try to hold [alt] while you start the imac and you should see your system. If that was the Problem: Boot it up and go to the System Preferences->Startup Disk and choose your system as the Startup Disk.

Hi, the screens for the Late 2013 and mid 2014 Macbook Pros are the same, so you can switch them. The SSD is used from Late 2013 to 2015, so you can change the SSD as well.
