I also had a similar issue. After completing the screen repair the in-call audio is diverted to bluetooth even when the bluetooth is turned off. Connecting to a bluetooth device is the only way to hear anything, incoming or outgoing. I'm more than certain it's not a hardware issue. Might either of you have an idea that may help?

Unfortunately without having the data you wish to be transfer backed up to either an sd card, your computer, or google (or others) it's not possible to pull data off of any device device that wont power on:(. Plugging it into the computer didn't work because with android you have to have USB debugging and stay awake settings turned on, both are only accessible from the settings on the device. Sorry i know my reply comes nearly a month after the post but i figured some response would be better than none. Congrats on the newborn, i wish you the best of luck and happy holidays:)

thank you for the help. the contacts were fine on the home button but the little prongs on the charge port that make the contact were defective. swapped a new one on and it worked. thanks again:D
