I’m getting a 64GB Mini-PCIe PATA SSD, and I want an up-to-date OS on it. Not only that, but I need one that runs decently and hopefully looks nice on it. I’m considering Windows 10, and absolutely not Windows 7 (since performance is apparently horrible on it). I’m also looking into running a unique distro of Linux too, and I’m unsure about Windows 8.1.

i would go with ubuntu, specs are too low for anything higher than windows 7. if you manage to get at least 2 more Gigs of RAM (assuming you have the 2GB model) you could try windows 8.1 but the cpu worries me to be honest and Ubuntu is better than evern right now.
