Out of nowhere, when I power on my GoPro Hero 3 Black, it turns off and on, repeatedly, by itself, until I remove the battery.
There was no shock to the camera when it stopped working, no water damage, maybe a hotter than usual day, but nothing crazy.
Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKSffmH0...
I've tried:
No luck.
Any ideas?

Power cycling like that on the GoPro Hero 3 Black is often linked to either internal hardware faults or corrupted firmware, particularly if it happens without an SD card or with multiple batteries. Since the firmware upgrade didn’t resolve the issue and there’s no visible physical damage, your next best bet might be to focus on recovering any important footage that may be stuck on the SD card. You can try using https://repair.cleverfiles.com/ — it’s a tool designed to help fix and recover corrupted video files from damaged or unstable devices. If the camera continues to loop like that, hardware repair might be your only option, but at least you can salvage the footage.

I have several A1342 computers. They are very useful machines - but the Trackpad seems to have a life it's own. Try as I might I can't find any details of how to set them up - mechanically. I know all about the adjustment screw, it's the mechanical operation of the pad being flush with the palm rest and being clickable that I can't properly work out. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you very much for replying to my question.
Yes, I have seen the iFixit guides relating to the trackpad etc. As always, very useful - but only really dealing with taking it out and putting a new one in.
I had hoped that there might be more about the construction of it and fixing of the various parts - as I couldn't see much more to adjust than the flimsy little switch that it all seems to depend on. But I'm coming to the conclusion that there isn't much more to it than this.
I've replaced the springs and screws - even the adjustment screw, but it seems that if the little switch and its plastic covering are even slightly worn, then it's all thrown out of alignment. Might it possibly be that adding a little shim to the adjustment screw might make it workable again?
Anyway, just thought I would ask - just in case any of your contributers might have come across this and found a solution.

I upgraded the 320gb hard drive in my mid 2010 MacBook Pro to a 1TB WD Blue SSD and it works great, except for one problem. When I click restart from within macOS, the laptop shows the Apple logo for about 2/3 of the loading bar and then changes to a prohibited symbol. It boots just fine from a shutdown and works reliably. The MacBook is running macOS High Sierra, so it’s not a version that it can’t support.

These old 2010's systems support.SATA 3 Gb/s whereas the WD Blue SSD is highly likely to be of SATA 6 Gb/s which maybe causing a bottleneck. You may need to find an SSD that can auto switch to 3 Gb/s speeds (Samsung is a good brand that can do this).

This maybe related to your issue.

The dryer stopped running shortly after starting a load. No breakers were tripped. We switched the cord because we thought this might have something to do with it. Was able to dry one full load with the new cord on Medium heat. When we went to start another load, it stopped working again. The model is MEDC465HW0 and was purchased only 4 years ago. Any thoughts on why a new cord would let it work, and then it blows after one load?

Thank you for the response. I guess when I say "blew," I should have said that it just stopped working again, and I don't know why. I'm not sure if it's overheating for some reason, but if that is the case, why does replacing the power cord fix it temporarily?

My adapter only works with the radio and the MusicServer and does not accept the CD or DVD.

We have an LG Fridge that's been with us for about 6 years. It's one of those 3 door fridges with the water dispenser on it. Our freezer compartment broke, and we have not used it since. The refrigerator itself was working about 2 weeks ago. Then we noticed that the fridge is slightly warm—like almost room temperature warm. What can I do to make our fridge cold again? I don't want to spend $100 + for the repairman to come and fix it. Is there a DIY guide that I can do?
