Apply the patch

  • Check again that the cut patch is the right size for the hole.

  • Peel off the backing and carefully apply the patch over the hole, making sure to keep fingers clear of the sticky back of the patch.

  • Use tweezers to aid in peeling the backing off of smaller patches.

  • Use your fingers to smooth out any bubbles and apply pressure to the patch.

  • If the hole goes all the way through the jacket, repeat this process to place a piece of tape on the other side.

Plak het stuk over de beschadiging

Controleer opnieuw of het stuk tape de juiste grootte heeft.

Trek de folie van de plakzijde af en plaats het stuk over de beschadiging. Zorg dat je de plakkant niet te veel aanraakt met je vingers.

Gebruik eventueel een pincet om de folie eraf te trekken. Dit kan vooral handig zijn bij kleinere stukken tape.

Druk met je vingers alle luchtbellen uit de tape en druk de tape stevig vast.

Als het gat aan zowel de binnen- als buitenkant van de jas zit, kun je deze stappen ook herhalen voor de andere kant van de jas.
