Cut out the patch

  • Use sharp scissors to cut a shape out of the Tenacious Tape® that's large enough to cover the hole and overlap it by at least half an inch (~13 mm) all the way around.

  • Round the corners of the patch because sharp edges tend to get caught and peel up.

  • Check that the patch is cut to the right size.

  • Multiple patches can be overlapped to cover a large tear or a unique shape, like an L. Ensure each patch overlaps by at least half an inch (~13 mm).

Draai deze om zodat je de achterzijde voor je hebt.

Gebruik een markeerstift om een ovaal, dat iets groter is dan het gat dat je repareert, op de reparatietape te tekenen.

Als je een groot gat hebt, kun je ook een rechthoek of vierkant tekenen. Zorg er wel altijd voor dat de hoeken afgerond zijn. Dit voorkomt dat de hoeken ergens achter blijven hangen en zo de rest van het stuk tape weer los trekken.
