How to Repair a MagSafe Connector: stap 0, afbeelding 1 van 1

  • Make sure that the cable comes off the centre of the circuit board so the housing will fit over it.

  • Also check that there is about 3mm of stripped cable on top of the circuit board as the strain relief has to fit here (see next photo)

  • Solder the other braid on the other side, in the opposite corner to the core. Try not to extend beyond the edge of the circuit board

  • Carefully file off any solder or cable that extends beyond the end of the circuit board.

Veillez à ce que le câble sorte du centre du circuit imprimé afin que le boîtier puisse se placer par-dessus.

Vérifiez également qu'il reste environ 3 mm de câble dénudé sur le dessus du circuit imprimé, car la protection contre la traction doit s'insérer à cet endroit (voir la photo suivante).

Soudez l'autre tresse de l'autre côté, dans le coin opposé à l'âme. Essayez de ne pas dépasser le bord du circuit imprimé.

Limez soigneusement toute soudure ou tout câble qui dépasse l'extrémité du circuit imprimé.
