Dell Inspiron 3542 LCD screen replacement

Stap 1 — Remove the battery

Remove the battery by pushing both clips out.

Stap 2 — Bezel removal

Use Jimmy or another opening tool to remove the screen bezel. Be careful not to damage the bezel.

Stap 3 — Screen removal

Loosen the marked screws.

Stap 4 — Screen removal

Remove the marked screws.

Stap 5 — Screen removal

The screen can now be removed safely. You can put it screen down at your keyboard.

Stap 6 — Cable removal

Remove the sticker holding the cable in place.
