Next turn the computer over so the base is upward. Remove the 19 retaining screws. Four on the bottom, four on the top, two on one side, three on the other side and remaining screws in the middle as shown.

Gently remove the cover, starting at the back near the fan.

Lift the cover gently from the back, along both sides towards the front and remove.
