Using the plastic opening tool, or the thin side of the spudger to separate the back cover from the phone. Start at the bottom corner of the phone. Be gentle because it may cause cosmetic and internal damage if not done with care.

With the back cover removed you will get a view like this.

Use the Phillips 00 screw driver to remove all visible screws. Try to organize the screws so there is no confusion when reassembling the phone.

After all connector are loosened up the motherboard should be free, but before removing it lets disconnect it a little further.
-
The flex cables running on the left and right side of the battery are connected to a smaller board connected which on their turn is connected with small amounts of adhesive materials to the motherboard. Use the spudger to carefully separate the smaller board of the motherboard.

You did not show how to remove the battery. You must tell the people every step and not lead them guessing. They might be trying this for the first time. I know that is how I did my first repair was follow the detailed instructions on IFIXIT and i was able to fix phones.
Here is a link that shows the removal step that you are missing.
Hey Darren! Sorry about the issues with the battery removal. This is an "Archived" guide, which means that it's only being kept around for reference, and really shouldn't be used unless absolutely necessary. We'll hopefully have a full set of guides for the LG G2 in the coming months, so stay tuned!
I really agree with Darren. For me the worst step was to unglued the battery. Why so much adhesive? It is no necessarily so...
Thanks Geoff!!!
What an utter waste of time. You should remove this guide from the site. The note at the top of the refers to another guide, but there is none. A note in the message section says there will be a guide in the coming months, but 7 months later there is not.
Poorly curated, and misleading.
I think in Step 5 it isn't necessary to remove all of the connectors. You really only need to remove 4 connectors in total... the 2 camera connectors, the proximity sensor and the longer one reaching down from the upper left corner (digitizer cable maybe?). That way you can just lift the motherboard up while still attached to the phone 90 degrees to access the battery. I had good luck with some heat and 3 spudgers to remove the battery, just be patient. Oh, and exploit the weak point under the battery cable to begin the battery/adhesive separation.
