The Definitive Technology W7 is a speaker released by Definitive Technology in July of 2015. The device comes in two colors: black or white. This device is part of the wireless collection of Definitive Technology speakers, and the it is the only device in the family with a form factor that allows it to be portable. The speaker can be operated using the Definitive Technology mobile app, which allows the user to have the speaker play audio from a mobile device. The equalizer settings, audio quality, and portability, are integral parts of why this device has received an average of four stars on Amazon. There has not been a successor device released.

This device can be easily recognized by its form factor. It is the only device in the wireless family in the shape of a square. Additionally, it only comes in two colors, white and black. There is also "Definitive Technology" inscribed on the front-bottom of the device, near the power button and volume controls.
