keyless systems are integrated into the onboard ECUs. I would guess that without replacing pricey components, it is not possible. But I would call a dealer and ask them if they can do it and at what cost. If they can't, you can't.

@vernonjohn59789 Like the one used in newer cars to unlock the vehicle via phone? I don't know if this is possible, but in my opinion, I don't recommend it, as you may need to do modifications to the wiring in order to get the vehicle unlocking like that.
OR, do you mean if it is possible to make it a keyless entry, BUT with the key fob remotely unlocking the vehicle? I think that it is possible, and I think that Jeep Grand Cherokee's of that timestamp can come with remote unlocking. So maybe on the first option, most likely for the second.
