Light under door comes on dim periodically by itself

It may be that the light timer has been activated. Try cancelling the light timer and check if that resolves the problem.

Tee, that light is controlled by a relay on the control bd and is a 110V bulb. Two possibilities: 1. the relay is defective. 2. there is grease build up partially shorting the contacts out. Either way, it should be fixed b4 it causes bigger problems.
Obviously, the first thing to try is replacing the bulb, but for it to come on by itself at low intensity doesn't point to a bulb failure - but anything is possible.
