Where can I get a replacement button board?
I need a replacement button board, as mine is corroded. Help would be appreciated, as I am unsure where to look.

@yeetusskeetus21 we would need to see what you got going on there. If you are referring to the release button etc., then the part number for that is 645-070-4048 and it is still available at some after market places. Post some pictures of your board and lets see if here is a chance to maybe fix that. Worst case scenario would be to find a donor camera to harvest the board from that. @yeetusskeetus21 ah, okay now I know which board you mean. That board is what Nikon refers to as the BACK SW UNIT (Key Board Function Board) and it is actually contained in the rear cover of the camera.
Should be Nikon part number 636-082-8285 and I just did a quick search and can't find the part online at all. You may need to find a non-working camera and use that as the donor for yours. You could then also replace the fragile covers
To work on your camera go to this page Nikon Coolpix 5600 and scroll to the Documents tab to get to the service manual.

There's the main board, and a board with all the buttons on it (minus the picture-taking button) connected by a ribbon cable. It's to the right of the screen. Most of the buttons work, but I can't zoom in/out or disable flash. The ribbon cable that connects the button board to the main one is super corroded, and I don't think it's plausible to try and repair the ribbon cable. I'd rather not have to take it apart more than I absolutely need to, as the outer casing is cracked and very fragile.
