Battery load/capacity mismatch

Hy! I installed a new battery (L18C4PF3 15.4V 3200mAh 49Wh) into my Lenovo C340-14IWL. I was afraid of some kind of battery log/statistics mismatch or what and it happened.

I fully charged it and now I'm discharging it to finish the first time charge/discharge period. The battery keeps himself great but the windows alarmed me about the batterys death. And the windows will shut down. But nothing! It wasn't hibernated. It remembers the old battery/capacity?

My question is: how and where can I reset the battery log - or what - to recognize the new battery by the system? Is there any option about it or isn't?

Windows 11 Home. I tried to install the Energy Management but it is older than the existing. And I can't run it. It's a shame I know...

@bigsee what version Windows are you using? I would suggest you start of by looking through the Lenovo documentation about battery issues. That way we are all starting at the same point and will not have to repeat to many steps in case of further troubleshooting.

A battery reset could be done by using Lenovo's Energy Management. Check and see if that is installed on your computer. I would like to see what your Windows sees in regards to your battery. Generate a battery report using the command powercfg /batteryreport in Windows PowerShell or Command Prompt. Then post a picture or copy of that with your Question. It may give us a clue about what Windows is doing.

Sorry for the late reply, but the battery is now restored. After two or three charges, the meter shows a realistic value.
