WiFi Still Not Working After Board Replacement

Hello all, I recently replaced the wifi board in my 2012 Macbook Pro after it constantly refused to connect (displaying "wifi not configured" in the menu bar-bluetooth works though). However, during the replacement process, I discovered one of the antennae (likely the one closest to the corner of the computer) seems to have snapped. After replacing the board, I rebooted the computer to discover that the issue has not been resolved. As such, I would like to ask if this is due to the broken antenna, and if so how I could repair it. I would also like to ask if there is any way to ensure you reconnected the antennae to the right ports-while I am reasonably sure I got them right based on the bends in the wires, it doesn't hurt to get confirmation.

I've attached images of the broken cable and the problems with the wifi below.

As to which Antenna wire goes where, it is that straight forward as you ca see in the guide image here

The long wire is the Bluetooth antenna.

So what exactly did you replace? Just the board or the carrier and ribbon cable assembly? Also did you put in the correct board?

Did you follow this guide? MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 AirPort/Bluetooth Board Replacement

I only replaced the board in this instance. I'm fairly sure I purchased the correct one-the old and new boards were visually identical, and the seller listed the board as compatible with A1278, A1286, and A1297 model Macbook Pros.

As for which antennae goes where, I am aware of that-I'm just concerned that I've mixed them up somehow and (for example) put the J1 antenna into the J2 port and vice versa. I was just asking if there was any way on the antenna itself (ex. on the port) that identifies which port is the correct one.

@gimiglider - You really can’t mess up here with the cables even if you messed up it would still work, just not at full ability.

I think the ribbon cable is bad, you could try reseating it. MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Airport/Bluetooth Cable

@danj Alright, I'll try resetting then replacing it then. Thanks for the help!

And yes, I did follow the guide mentioned above, though as I replaced multiple other components I also simultaneously followed 2 other guides as well.

@gimiglider - What else did you do within the system?

@danj I replaced the right speaker/subwoofer combo due to a blown subwoofer, and replaced the inoperative dvd drive with a HDD. I'll probably switch that out for a SSD soon though.
