Standby light not on

Hi I have a MU6100 so slightly different. My exact model is UA43MU6100S. Issue is standby light is not on. If I unplug the cable between the PSU and mainboard the backlights turn on.There is a test point to measure 8v stby and 13v on this point is always at 13v it will drop to about 8.5 volts for very briefly when connecting back cable to main board when unplugging and measuring voltages pin A/D is 3.2v unplugged and 0.08 connected 0d_US is 3.6 unplugged and 3.3 connectedBLU_PWM is 3.2 unplugged and 0.04 connected power on/off is 4.6 unplugged and 3.3 connected. I have tried disconnecting the 2 LCD flat panel cables to eliminate a panel fault. If I hold the power button on remote a few seconds the standby red lights up for another few seconds then give 1 flash and goes off.

Hi @shaun63172,

Try disconnecting the TV power button board cable from the mainboard and see if the TV turns on using the remote.

This won't work if the IR receiver is on the same board as the power button.

Just wondering if the button is "stuck" in the operated position so the TV doesn't know whether to turn on or off.

If no good, try removing the batteries from the remote and use the TV controls and check

@shaun63172 we need to see your boards to follow your power measurements. Since your back lights come on it is a pretty good indication that your Power supply is okay. This sounds pretty much like a failed main board.

@shaun63172 see if you can get some pictured that are zoomed in.It's difficult to enlarge the ones you have attached since they get fuzzy on close up. Typical Samsung. Put more goop on the Mosfets.....what a mess on the board :-)

We need to see the connector CNM803 where the main board connects to.

Have added a close up of CNM803
