My camera was left in the garage during the winter

@bellz55147 the very first thing you want to do is to replace the battery. Your battery most likely will not have survived the winter cold (not sure how cold your winters get ;-) or is discharged below it's charging threshold. Once you replace the battery, try and see if it power on. If it does not, you will have to disassemble your camera and inspect the circuit board. It may help if you post some good pictures of your circuit board with your question. that way we can see what you see and hopefully provide you with additional guidance.
