on board camera not working at all turns on but then turns off
microsoft sent me a link i taped into the link it did not work so what do i do. i have restarted my laptop, i also did everything you have asked me to do. is there something i might have missed if so please tell.

i have a dell inspiron pc laptop 1500 serious model / 1545. the camera on my laptop was working fine, i turned it on today and it went on then came up as error. microsoft sent me a link, still nothing i feel link i want to chunk my laptop across the room. i have gone through all the steps, what should i do.

It is doubtful that Microsoft would send you a link - sounds more like an attempt to take over your computer. Could you perhaps explain in more detail how the "link" appeared such as in a browser or just on your desktop, etc.
