Turns off when moved?

Idk if my kiddo managed to step on it or drop it or what, but her innotab works perfectly now...but only if you leave it completely immobile on a tabletop. As soon as its picked up or jostled at all it turns itself off and makes you reset the date/time like the batteries died, But I know they're brand new and they don't seem to be shaking out of place or anything I can seem to notice on that point. I've tried to google the issue and it doesn't seem like an issue anyone has posted anywhere about before? Hoping someone had a solution, or at least something I haven't thought of to try. (We don't have the rechargeable battery pack)

Hi @amyautopsy ,

You may have to play detective to find out what is happening.

With the tablet resting on a table and turned on, gently start tapping in various places around the tablet (preferably not the screen), with the end of a pencil to check if you can make the tablet turn off and on etc.

Hopefully once you have isolated it to a particular area of the tablet you can use the ifixit Vtech InnoTab 3S guides to open the tablet and then check what is in the area where the problem is located.

When you have it open and you are not sure of what the problem may be post some pictures back here and someone will no doubt help you. Here's how Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag
