Sounds like you're talking about the 6 legged sensing chip at the edge of the board, but please add a picture showing the location so we can help.

@polastreli like @reecee already mentioned. Post a good image of what "chip" you are referring to and mark the location on the logicboard. Use this guide or that Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag It may also help if you can give us the 820-xxxx number of the board as well.
