Left toggle needs repair

Hi,

I don't know where to send your tablet for repair as you don't state your location and ifixit does not do repairs. This website is answered by volunteers trying to help you to fix it yourself and if you cannot, what may be another option.

You may be able to fix the problem yourself, if the joystick is physically broken or not functioning correctly by replacing it.

Here is a link to a video that shows how to open your tablet. At 7:28 minutes into the video you get a good view of the joystick. It appears that it can be unsoldered from the pcb and a replacement soldered back on.

If this process seems too daunting for you, I suggest that you order the part first and then take it and your tablet to a reputable, professional electronics repair, mobile phone repair or laptop repair service and ask for a quote. It may also be advisable that you inform them of the You Tube video (shown in this answer) showing how to open the tablet as it will help them and reduce the time taken to fix it.
