led screen not working correctly

I turned on my camera(Power Shot SD890 IS0 the other day and now the LED screen is black except for a diagonal cut from lower left to upper right across the middle of the screen. Nothing I do makes this go away. I can take a photo, but it also looks the same way. Is the LED screen bad and can it be replaced? What other options do I have?

@adamseyes3 if the picture looks the same as your LCD it is not your LCD. This could be a shutter error or a CCD sensor error. Post some images of what the LCD displays. that way we can see what you see. Use this guide Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag for that.
