Hi Luca!
To be honest, I think it’s strange that the 2 speakers are dead. I don’t think it’s speaker related. You can try to swap them (as it’s still is a possibility that they are both dead). It’s very easy to replace them for the original DS (no soldering needed).
Now, it’s very possible that the speaker boards (where the speaker is connected to) are broken and need to be replaced! To give an idea, you can follow this guide: [guide|1305] (***till step 16***).
It’s also possible that the audio IC died. But let’s try the other 2 (more easier) options first!
