I assume Hamper was talking about a possible ribbon cable internal to the LT.
Insure that all prongs on the battery connector are not damaged.
Batteries do not normally stop "all of a sudden". They degrade and seemingly charge fast but do not run the LT for very long between charges. Then they just stop working

Additionally, from the Windows PowerShell, terminal, or Command Prompt, you can ***use the powercfg /batteryreport command to generate a battery report***. Follow the output path to find battery-report.
