Optical Drive doesnt work

I keep getting an error message when trying to burn a disc from iTunes. Something to the effect that the disc is not recognized. Then the cd gets spit out of the machine. Took it into a mac store and they said we needed a new optical drive. I'm looking for a suggestion for which drive to use. Thanks
