iPad not turning on after LCD + Screen replacement

I replaced the digitizer and the LCD on my ipad 5 and it was working perfectly fine. After a couple of days I noticed the adhesive had come off and having a bought some strong tapes, I decided to redo the work. I switched off the ipad and removed the old adhesive which came off easily and before testing just to be cautious, I connected the LCD and the digitizer cables and it would not turn on. I tried hard resetting with no luck and the device is not being recognized by itunes in my PC. I am really disappointed as I had it working like a charm and suddenly its being snatched away. Are there any ways to get it back on
